Lightforce is an excellent instrumental track from Mind.in.a.box’s new album, R.E.T.R.O. – which is a tribute to the old 8-bit electronic music that was made on a Commodore 64 computer many years ago. Highly recommended!

Mesh recently posted this club-friendly instrumental version of Trust You on YouTube – complete with posterized video of the group dancing to it. It’s a really great arrangement of this song – lots of layered synth goodness and a strong, driving beat.

The Greek synthpop duo Marsheaux does a marvelously bright and bouncy cover of Pure, the 1989 pop hit from The Lightning Seeds. I listened to the original song before posting this, and I must say – I like Marsheaux’s update of it much better!

This is a classic mid-tempo synthpop song by Seven Red Seven – a group that, unfortunately, is no longer with us today.
